@jfz80 let me ask my mech..... I think so and no clue lol

autolites were only a buck thirty two each though and also made of some metal ;)
id recommend the iridium denso equivalent of the toyota part

My Toytec AALs (Deavers) didn't do so well with only a yard of gravel :( I probably could have gone 2 yards, but that is all we had time to put down on Saturday, anyway. Supple ride for off-roading - still not a truck for hauling huge weight around :)

Got the sliders sanded, primered and painted in Satin Black this weekend. :) 95" of sliders . . . whew.

Purdy :)

Looking good Jamie.

Had the same experience on the taco. Stock spring payload was 1200. Custom deaver pack was 900. But man it rode great with the coilovers.

Btw yrd^3 is about 2200-2400 lb dry ;)

Airlift Airbags would give you the best of both worlds. Increase the air pressure when loaded with heavy stuff, and decrease air pressure to give you your current ride. Best 90 bucks youll spend.

You can mount your two schrader valves in your rear bumper below/beside the tag lights, and feed each air bag individually. Then you can fine tune the pressure for uneven loads.

What? What is this new thing you mention . . . just when I think I am "done" something like this from @stevezero comes along :)

^^ hey now, I didn't enable any of that (I hope)! From what I can tell you are as bad as anyone in the Triad area - of course I place the Triad probably 1st in terms among all regions for enabling on a per person basis.

Well . . . . I noticed my sliders lost a bunch of paint on the way to be welded on. Found out that I had PAINTED what I thought was primer on the initial painting and nothing was sticking as it should. Found the grey primer I had bought and was like WTH did this come from :) - dug through my trash in the garage and found I had used grey paint on accident :(

So . . . I had to go back and get the sliders media blasted and am starting over again :(

Round 2 - - this time taped the mounting points unlike the first.

@weejub I generally paint down each leg to within an inch or so of the base plate. Once welded I then paint down the leg, base plate and surrounding frame. Pint on the feet will most likely melt and can also gas off and might effect the weld.

Thanks, Stan.

Not sure if you saw this, more coming for the Tundra project.

Project Tundra

And the title of the post still makes me think of our international borders!

^^ I wonder what that sounds like. Wonder also with all the fitted piping, if it wouldn't work in a 100 with VERY small adjustments :)

I haven't spent a ton of time looking at the differences between a 100 and a Tundra/Sequoia engine compartment, but from what I have seen I would think it would be pretty similar all the way from top down through the headers?

Changed the spark plugs on the old girl.

Total cost with my time was around $65 thanks to FAT pricing and my labor :) Toyota quoted me $400 . . . LOL.

Runs VERY smooth now. After the trip to Hurricane Creek, she seemed like she was struggling a bit.

Pics of plugs for those who like to see that kind of thing :)
