Damn man.
Keep that pace up and you can go wheeling in it on the 19th at flagpole.
What's up with bumper? You doing body mounts or what?

I got the body mounts from CCOT the other day. Not sure if we should swap the rear frame or just try and cherry hammer and chain the old one back into shape.
I figured you were down for the count for a while.

I'm ready when you are. Lets shoot for Sunday morning if you want to try the heat and hammer. Just got a new propane cylinder today.

How do you like that Eastwood Mig-180?
I really like it. I had a Miller 175 a while back and regretted selling it. I think this 180 burns better than the Miller. Really smooth machine.

Good to know! I have a 120v Lincoln 140hd and since I now have 240v power, I’m looking for a new welder in that range.
Thank you.

Damn, it's been almost a month since I did anything to this. Today I put the front end on with a couple bolts just to get some inspiration to get after it again. It somewhat worked. I think I'm just done with working in the cold weather. Tomorrow will hopefully be warmer and I will jump back into gear. Took my paint booth down and stored it away as well.

Lookin good!
I can relate to working in the cold weather. When I was building my 40 I worked in a tarp car port. I built a used oil burning heater because I felt, using a heat method that you paid for the fuel was a waste of money.

Got a little more done on the mid bed today. Maybe 2-3 more Saturdays and the body work will be done.

I have hit a wall with working on this thing for the past month or so. Today I got some painting done on the valve cover, intake, and header.

Lookin good. Gettin closer at least!

Snow day in April, WTF?! Managed to get the painted pieces mocked up. Steering shaft is in, but I had to cut it to make it fit correctly. Ordered a coupler to get it all fixed up.

Seriously this spring is nuts. I can start to breathe a bit now with some time so if you need some help on a weekend with working on the 40 let me know.

You in the new Casa? Looks like the Shen. Valley in that pic.

Got my used faded soft top on, and I'm diggin it. Gotta roll it out in the sun to let it stretch a bit. The rear bow is a little low due to rust holes I have yet to fix. 😬
