This thread is intended to show new or prospective buyers where they should look for rust in a 60. Hopefully it will become a sticky in the FAQs. Please post up pictures of your rust. Close ups are OK, but make sure you have an image that is far enough away to easily show the general area. I'm thinking floor boards, frames, quarter panels and rockers. Extensive rust in roofs and pillars are not "common" rust areas but I know some have tackled these areas as well. Lets keep long explanations down and mostly show images with just a brief line stating what part of the truck is shown.

I'll go first:

I don’t have any before pictures. I did they original panel replacement 18 years ago. I did the rockers with 3x3 square tube 3/16 wall. The rear quarters I had to replace the wheel arch/ lip and the whole lower/outer. While doing the rear quarters I decided to French them in and flat cut radius and box the bottoms. Back then that was not that common, pretty standard now. Making it look nice and finished is the hardest part.

Dear lord @sved That is a work of art right there!
I will try to remember to throw up some of my pics as I have done body work over the last couple years.
@NeverGiveUpYota you should throw up some of your stuff from the frame repair.

Where have you been @sved? I’ve never seen your name nor your work which is really awesome and helpful!

Haven’t even started yet Greg. Weather too crappy to get going on it yet. But this is going to be me and my trucks new best friend when the weather clears.

And there’s a few folks who’ve done amazing roof repairs as well. We need to get links to them added too.

Let me know what your thoughts are on the 140...I've been going back and forth between that and the MVP210.

I bought it because it’s almost plug and play in my 110v garage. Also got it for a great price refurbished but literally everything on it and in it is brand new w/ a two year warranty fir $473.
