We are starting a Toyota Land Cruiser club in the Midlands of South Carolina (Columbia, SC and surrounding areas). Our aim is to establish ourselves as a TLCA chapter. Almost a dozen of us in the Columbia area have crossed paths a few times and mentioned that it would be nice if we could get together. We're finally making it happen. So, if you’re local (or even within driving distance) and own a Land Cruiser, or any Toyota with a selectable transfer case, let me know! If you know anyone else, please, let them know! We appreciate it!

Wasn't much response from this thread, but just in case anyone is watching or finds this one:

We had 18 Land Cruiser owners attend the meet!

Quite a few drove their rigs. We had some 40's, 60's, 80's, a 100, and a 200. Others came in their every day drivers. We had half a dozen to a dozen who couldn't make it, but want to attend the next meeting and be involved. Overall, good showing.

Yes, please, if you can!

We'd be glad to have you! We had @dbenke come to our first one. Awesome to have Low Country representation and support, so we would love having ONSC representation and support. We're going to be discussing our meeting schedule, potential venues for meetings, and getting info together for our TLCA chapter application. We'd like to make our meeting schedule so we can have some guests, however, the idea of meeting on a weekend evening didn't float well the first time. We've had some say Thursdays may not work well regularly.

Venue is a work in progress, but the location we are meeting at is very supportive of our effort and enjoyed having us.
