I'm headed to AOAA Wednesday morning to see who is wheeling that day and then headed down to the campground. I'll be in cabin A74 near the registration cabin from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday morning. I'm planning to have coffee in the morning for anyone who wants to stop by. Bring a cup but remember my crew is usually on the road a bit after 8. If you're headed past the cabin after a day of wheeling stop for a beer too.
The trailer parking area has changed slightly over the years due to the frisbee golf course setup. I do remember some guys sleeping in that area near/in their rigs but can't say what the campground people would feel about it.
FYI AOAA is about 40 miles from the campground that's if you're headed up I81 and getting off at milepost 116. There's one steep hill with a switchback in it once you get onto route 125. There's another way to get to AOAA without using the interstate but it involves traversing three steep windy mountains (big hills???) on route 125.
