I have a 94 pickup, When it is cold it is impossible to get it into gear. When it’s warm and I’m stopped at a stoplight or anywhere I have to go over to fifth and then back into first to get it into gear. My clutch pedal engages as soon as it leaves the floor but feels very spongy otherwise. Any tips are appreciated

i would replace the clutch master and slave. Use aisin. Is your fluid dark?

In addition to the other suggestions, I would change the trans fluid to Redline MT-90 and install a new shift lever bushing/seat kit part #s 33548-31010 and 33505-35020 (verify for your exact trans)

yes, it's perfectly fine to run full synthetic in the older Toyota manuals. Redline MT-90 is what most people I know with older Toyota trucks use. I personally feel that it's the best choice out there. It is very hard to find gl-4 rated gear oil which is what our trucks use. reviews . I would not run the regular Redline 75/90 in the trans, that is made for diffs. Also, I think all of their products are synthetic

As @gnob says, I'd bleed it and adjust the pedal before I went into replacing everything under the sun. If you can't get it bled and/or adjusted, then I'd start looking deeper. Of course, bleeding it with good fluid (Redline or whatever) makes sense.

I once had a similar problem with Patch, so if all of the above doesn't fix it, and definitely do that first, have a look at the clutch fork. Mine had split at the fulcrum point and was bending. First and reverse were the hardest two gears to get into.

Yep, had that happen on my K2500, but the clutch went out completely. I figured the clutch line or seal in the master or slave went. I was confused when I checked and it was still holding fluid and was fully functional. It became obvious when I dropped the transmission to look at things, though!

I bought both of these parts, they can’t be terribly hard to replace. I was wondering about how long it’d take and are there any special tools needed

No special tools needed. Just need to pop the shifter and pull the shifter. Most likely you will be removing the old bits with a shop vac.
