As most of you who have been to my house. My garage is a complete disaster. I used to be a woodworker and now all it's doing is collecting metal bits. Then piled on that a whole bunch of cruiser parts.

before. As you can see there is no room to work and I'm constantly tripping over everything.

Rented this yesterday.

loaded up.

Took in over to the warehouse and unloaded it. Kind of a shame it's not being used. Don't want to sell it cause I know I'll regret it when I have a place I can put it in.

Not finished but a big start still have to work on the work benches.

Also have to fit the blast cabinet in there somewhere.

But look the piggy fits.

Amazing. First time we have ever had a car in the garage.:bounce2:

I'm not showing my wife this thread.....please delete it before she sees it!!!

That's why I could never live in a subdivision.
I'd just buy or build a shed/barn and install the woodworking outfit there. Probably in the front yard.
Redneck forever, three hundred years of heritage.

I'm right there with ya. I need land. We made a mistake moving into a subdivision. Thought it would keep us less messy. Has not had that effect. Plan is to get the house clean and painted and put it on the market. Looking for a house/land out in powdersville/easley area.

Here's a pretty good website I've been tracking for a while now. Nothing in Pickens Co. currently but lots of choices a little further south.

One example:

Glad you're looking for a place in Powdersville. I could use a neighbor with the right tools.

Glad to see you cleaned up the dungeon:bounce:

You ever see any actual deals on land on that page? $4K and acre isnt exactly a steal. Guy here has some land for $5K and acre, it will sit there awhile unless a northerner comes through or maybe a mennonite family who wants it. I bout fell out of the chair when the guy told me how much.

Yeah, I agree. Not many deals around much anymore and certainly no "steals" unless it is passed down within family.

It's all relative though. $4-5K an acre isn't too far out of line for the not extremely remote parcels in severely indigent areas of the Carolinas / SE.

There are plenty of acre lots going for close to a million in many parts of the state(s) unfortunately. Luckily I don't want land in those areas.

I am with you about the subdivision thing....we had a 4 car oversized garage in Colorado that had doors tall enough to fit both the lifted 80 and the FJ. Now we have a 2 car that nothing I drive will fit in. Bad move on my part. We have been in the house for a couple of months and are already counting down the time until we can sell and find a nice shop/garage with a house attached.
