I was actually in process of 3d printing something similar, but nowhere near complete. Any reason for not doing a large hydroflask on both sides? That's what we would really like.

I would order one as well. The prior version is useless to me because I use the medium and large Yeti cups and they jam into the "halves" and pull them out each time I lift the cups for a drink. I like the space for the phone, leatherman and pens as well. Would buy as soon as available.

I had a somewhat similar issue with the bottles I use, so what I did was run a single bolt through the front, vertical wall of the insert and into OEM piece. Nut on the other side, of course. Not something you'd see unless you looked for it, and holds the new cup holder perfectly in place without any chance of it coming out.

Sorry for not responding on this thread for a while. I have been out on our annual company campout all last week. We spent the last few days frantically trying to get caught back up on orders. I just now finally had a chance to get on mud. For an update, I do plan to release the complete drop in cup holder for the 200 Series cruiser and LX570. This will completely remove the OEM cup holder unit. Right now I"m working on 2 versions. One has a hole diameter large enough for a hydroflask and the other hole is the usual 3" diameter. This version allows for a cell phone slot, 2 pen slots, and another storage slot. The other version has 2 holes for hydroflasks but no longer has the room for a phone. The larger holes in either version will come with a hole reducer insert so it can be used as a regular cup holder when the hyrdoflask isn't in use. Here's a couple CAD pics of the double hyrdoflask version and a pic of the original verison with a hydroflask installed. This has the rubber boot on it.

Looks awesome. Quick question - is the entire drop in unit on the above-model held in place with clips or friction so that if you were to "jam" a slightly larger cup than the smaller hole (like a medium or large Yeti Rambler or the like), the whole assembly won't come up with the cup?

Wooooo!
I’m interested in the two, large-hole design...because I could always line a larger hole with a bit of rubber strips to tighten.

Personally, I’d do without the pen holes if that were an option simply because it would be easier to keep clean. Maybe less difficult to sand/paint too (?). But super glad to see you’re doing full replacement with big holes!

There area couple flat spots on the bottom that come in contact with the vehicle. I will probably add a couple strips of 3M adhesive or velcro in that area so it sits nice and snug. Velcro will allow for easy removal but not as strong as the 3M adhesive. Still have to figure that part out.

Looks great, but I'm confused. The model with the cell phone slot will hold a Hydroflask? So why is there a second version designed around a Hydroflask?

The second design holds 2 of the large hydros, the first one only holds one large and one small

Yessss awesome. Can you please do some testing with the rubberized sleeve on the bottom of a wide mouth hydroflask?

He’s already done the testing. When I mailed him my center console, I also sent a rubber boot.

Thanks! Missed that if it was posted earlier. And if I understand correctly, the “larger” unit will have inserts to allow the use of smaller bottles.
The larger hole will come with a sleeve to reduce the hole to the standard 3". If I end up going with the large double hole design then BOTH holes will come with the inserts to reduce the hole diameter.

Both version hold a hyrdoflask. The first version only has one hole that can hold a hydroflask. The other hole is the standard 3" diameter. The larger hole will come with a sleeve/insert to reduce the hole back down to 3" when the hydroflask is not in use. The newer 2nd design has BOTH holes large enough for a hydroflask. That version does not leave enough room for a phone and would require two inserts/sleeves to reduce the holes back down to 3". I'm personally leaning towards to single large hole and single smaller hole design with one insert. I feel that design is more functional.

I picked up 3 different brands of "hydroflask" bottles. I bought the name brand one, the costco version, and the Amazon knockoff brand. All 3 brands have the same bottom diameter. 2 of the brands came with a rubber boot on bottom. I made sure the larger hole can accept all brands WITH the rubber boot installed. I'm not sure what you mean by "wide mouth hydroflask" so I'm not sure if that is another version or just another way of saying the same thing.

Thank you for clarifying. I use a 16oz Hydroflask (just shy of 3" diameter) so either solution will work for me, but the larger openings would allow me to "up" my drinking game.

There's a specific series called the "Wide Mouth" . It's basically a straight cylinder. . .there's no "neck" on the bottle.
