Ordered the quarter panels for a 1980. I really just need them to widen and patch the wheel well opening. Will report back. Like the free shipping for sure.

I have a driver side and passenger side floor boards I'm going to post for sale in a day or so. My dad bought a parts truck and it call with it. Says 1965-1978 fj40 years

He bought a 73 for parts because he rolled his 1971 fj40. The guy he bought the cruiser from had them. I guess the guy was going to restore the 73 but you know how that goes. I'm looking into pricing. I'm thinking a little less than what it is selling for.

Why isn't your dad using?

Probably because they look like this.

Got the rear quarter panels. The metal is good thickness, but the wheel well cutout has some sharp edges and irregularities. I think I can deal with it with a few mins on a grinder. I am going to order a Real Steel set as well and then report back. to compare. Will attach photos when I get some pics.

Would be very interested to know the quality of the Real Steel stuff - as I have been planning to order some panels from them for a long time. They seem to have a pretty solid reputation around here.

I used the real steel. They were great. Classicp4u told me their qtrs do not have a cutout for the side markers or gas tank and would not or could not send me actual pictures. I decided the Real Steel would save me some time, and they had a pretty good reputation on Mud. They worked great. They ship fast and have some discounts if you order certain items in pairs (see their site).

The RS wheel wells look great and are smooth.

EBI may be a good option too. Their timeline didn't work for me at the time, but they may have more metal in stock now. Good pricing, probably worth checking with them.
