For Sale CL find. 64 FJ40 in Idaho - $4500

This is not mine and I have zero affiliation with the seller. I know little of the FJ40 market but it seemed reasonable. No idea if posting this is against the classified rules. Apologies and feel free to delete or let me know if it is (s***, it may even already be on here).

Anyway, seller is local to me. I'd be willing to help a Mud member that wasn't local if I could.

As mentioned I know next to nothing about 40s and the surrounding market. I simply saw this while looking for a vehicle for the Gambler 500 and figured I'd share it with the couple forums who I have learned endless knowledge from. And as a way to pay back knowledge when I don't have it, as I said I'd be happy to help if I can since the seller is local.

Can't speak for @yotadude520 but he was probably sincere, so many v8 swaps are out there (and the lister probably meant straight 6?).
I was also sincere, this kind of rig is _lots_of fun. I'll admit I was making a bit of fun at the owners "good glass" pitch (see pic for when the ad is gone). I enjoy shared CL listings, please don't take offense.

I will admit I was poking fun at the sellers listing. I see that happen all the time with people who don't know what they have and think the old F series inline is a "V6". On the flip side I've seen many FJ's for sale where people actually do swap in an old Chevy or Buick V6, and without engine pics what's under the hood is anyone's guess

But I was not being sarcastic or making fun of you personally, just the seller. At the end of the day it still is an old FJ40 that's in decent shape and someone will buy it. I've seen worse sell for more. Thanks for posting it so other mudders can check it out!

I am an FJ40 guy from Boise ID and I would go look at it for another Mudder. I also chuckled @ the V-6 description.
