I paid $1560 shipped for my 37x17 radial Rockers through 4ws.com. It was the best price i could find at the time.

Chicago i know its probably in here multiple times, but what is your wheelbase? im thinking of using the rear 40 springs up front as they are slightly longer but still offset and 60 springs in the rear. i put my 40 up on blocks this weekend so i can start visualizing and disassembly.

I got the WB out to 103".
Keep in mind though, I did extend the frame an inch and a half. Not for the wheel base, but to run the rear bumper/ swingout. However it did help just that much more. The hanger I put at the edge of the rear bumper/ x member, so the shackle hangs out a bit.
That WB, btw, is only 5 in shorter than the fj60.
I loved that length, but not the overhang!!

Have you checked out your fuel mileage yet? I'm wondering what kind of improvement you got.

Kinda hard to say at this point. So far on the two tanks I've calculated has been 15 MPG, but... That was mixed wheeling and road time. Im hoping for 16-17 on the drive to death valley in a couple weeks.
Should probably re calibrate my speedo w/ the 37's on there too.

Hmm. I was wondering what the break even point would be if I replaced my 305 with a 5.3 at todays $4.10/gal. My 305 gets about 12 on the highway.

Don't wait to long, if prices are going the way they are over here.
We are about to though the $10 mark for a gallon.:crybaby::censor:

That would be awesome if it were true. :flipoff2: Sorry, I just can't believe that statement...

The build looks great! I just skimmed through the whole thing... I'd love to see it in person one day

Really?
15 mpg is Unbelieveable? I was hoping for better, actually.

It really needs book marks I was looking for something I had remembered you used on your build 2 hours later I had my answer and a bunch of new ideas

Lol... Yeah, it's pretty long.
Boots had a good idea linking the pages on the first page of his build thread, but I'm not that savvy.

Thanks man!!
Appreciate it. I have to go back through this one day and see all if it in sequence. I posted a lot of pics on FB for friends and family to see, and it's kinda fun to see the progression. You guys here got both the good and BAD of the build.

I might get 11 if I'm easy on it, but I have a 5.7 with a slightly larger camshaft and vortec heads and a Holley Projection throttle body. Super Swampers aren't kind to mileage, either.

Damn!!
No bull s***... 14.86 was the last read and the one before that was 14.4x something. Okay, not RIGHT AT 15, but there abouts.
I drive with a light foot and keep the rpms down below 2k, and the milage was with the 35 BFG's.
Well see how the iroks fare.
