I'm down!
Just have to take 2 weeks off work as the weekend before is Blotch weekend. :)

No, if you're going to pick a 2013 event, pick the 2013 Rubithon. That's what all the east coast boys are planning on making :D

okay..

and how many times have you guys done it?

Just throwing another suggestion out there. The guys who put on the Rubithon have made it seem like thats the event to make, being the 25th anniversary and all.

If its in your back yard then make both!

At least once a year!!!
Super stoked about running it in the 40 for the first time this year!:bounce::steer:
That trail in the Blotch rig was a TON of work to get through. Im really looking forward to comparing the differences. I have so much more confidence in the abilities of this rig vs. the 62.

Heres a couple pics from the Blotch run in DV.
Rigs is EFFECTIVELY more of a crawler than an expedition rig, that is CLEAR.

This is how the rig was packed BEFORE my buddy Jeff and I got our bags, sleeping bags etc. in.

I've done the trail at least once a year for the last 8 years. Sometimes I get an extra run in or we do a shorter version from Wentworth Springs to Loon Lake.

The season is kind of short and it's tough to fit more Rubicon runs in with everything else there is to do. Although with so many trails shut down in Eldorado county this year :frown: we may do Rubicon more often. It's tough to figure out how putting more traffic on the few trails that remain open is helping the ecology but that's greenie logic for you.:meh:

Will do later this eve!!
Thanks Georg.
I'm just concerned that it's a flawed design that I made with the mounts, x member or both.

Were planning on Moab next year as a club.

:)

Georg and anyone else...
Here's some pics of the x member/ trans mount.
Looking for any ideas if anyone sees anything wrong w/ the design and why those 203 adapter bolts keep coming loose.

First is the whole enchilada
Next is just the rubber mounts under the 203
After that is the frame mounts for the x member
after that is the problem spot... The tail housing to the 203.
I'm tearing into it this weekend in hopes of fixing it once and for all.
Thanks

Keith

You need more flex at the foot or adapter plate itself. Having the rubber mounts all the way at the ends of the x-member gives you very little flex.

Georg
