Just for future reference for you when you are able to move to the 37's. The 5.3l 4l60e combo with 37's works very weel on and off road with 4.88's. As far as off road I do not remember what tc you used but with my orion I use 1st for the rocky stuff and steeper down hills and then 2nd and third the rect of the times. Everything works very nicely. I however have never had 35's on my rig and will likely be moving to 40's in a few months.

Thanks for the post man!!!
Btw... Your rig is AWESOME!!! Towards the end of my build I looked at yours for inspiration to keep moving since i read the write up in toy4wdowners mag!!!

Im using the np203/ 19 spline split case.
So far I am really happy w/ it. The deeper 1st and the split case low has been great for most moderate wheeling. Better than the stock a440/ split case.
Im still feeling things out too, though. Off road has been great! It's the on road time I need more of to get more confidence in the rig.

Got my PS half door capped and finish welded. Just gotta do the prep to both of them for paint!!!!

A neat trick I discovered is that a 3x1 square tube fits perfectly inside of the door thickness. Makes welding it in a ton easier, Nice flat surface to rest your arm and it's a rounded edge. I cut it in half, so you have a cap piece for both doors!! :)

Thanks man!!

Great idea thx

So stoked!!! End of feb. Can't come fast enough!!!

Still tryin to figure out the best way to mount speaker boxes off the cage...
Getting kinda pissed about it actually!
Everything I've come up w/ I hate as far as mounting options!!!
Maybe preaching to the choir here... but have you looked into the waterproof boat speaker, box, and mounting stuff that go on the wake bars? I know they can be spendy but some of em really do sound amazing and don't look bad either.

Are we still talking about speakers?:flipoff2:

X2 on the size of boat speakers, that and the chrome flames they all seem to have won't work for me.

I built some boxes....
I was trying to avoid welding on the cage again, but...there's more crap I need to weld anyway, so I'm just gonna weld some tabs on the cage to bolt the speaker boxes on. They sit in the corners of the cage behind the seats.

I was the guy who never did his homework and copied right before the start of class. hahaha

BTW your garage is to damn clean and un cluttered...

Make me wanna bring my truck over and park it in ther with mud still on it and let some fall off and let the transfer case that has a mix of oil and water in it leave a nice puddle under it. :flipoff2:

Jeezus!!!!
I've actually started to clean it cuz things are wrapping up. I've got about 700 lbs of scrap steel to turn in, all the loose nuts and bolts are put away and I still have to find a home for a bunch of other crap, got a bunch of crap I'm gonna try and peddle at Georg's swap meet... Can't wait to see my work bench again!!
As for the puddle under the rig.... I've got that covered!! I lazed out on putting some gasket maker on the 4l60e-203 adapter and that bitch is leaking and leaving a nice puddle that is causing my OCD to go into a tail spin!!! That means I'm gonna have to pull that FUGGIN trans tunnel again and drop the t case again to get to it....
It's a mess!!! :)
Btw... My dad did the same crap to me when I was a kid w homework!!
I got the "rolling eyes" routine last night while lecturing. Lil bastard!!
