Thanks guys, looks like it's time to do some buying.
All the "bros" here in CenCal have these lights on their 8" lifted super duty/cummins pavement queens. Needless to say, I have a jaded opinion of them. However, in the backwoods where light is non-existent and you need to see where you are going when backing up, I can see the functional purpose.

Oh Gee! Darn!! I must have got yours by mistake? I showed them to Phil at the meeting Friday nite. Just got them in the mail, so I didn't get them installed til Saturday. Seriously, worth the $$. Did anyone see any other good applications on our rigs for other cree chip products other than turn signals? From my past experiences, LEDs don't work well when using with a flasher becasue they don't have a big enough draw to trigger the flasher properly (unless a resistor is used).

Of course I just found another as I'm about to hit the buy button. Did anyone find any specs on the cree bulbs? I evn searched the Cree website and they don't even show the automotove stuff.
These are priced at $14.95 ea but appear similar. They are 1 watt with 60 lumens.

The CREE lights are 5X1Watts making them 5Watts and they state this 5X1Watts CREE LED as having 400 Lummens.
You do the math.
Very nice, 5W is a very powerful LED, I bought it. I wish I could get this in a H3 bulb to replace the 120W in my Piaa rear flood light.

OK, broke down and ordered a set today. Before and after pics look good. My HIR bulbs were a disappointment, hope these do the job.
