What: Post-Christmas Pot Luck Lunch
When: Noon - 3pm(?) Sunday, December 28th
Where: My house in Tega Cay, SC

Instead of getting together at a bar/restaurant this month, JohnVee, Lt1fire and I thought we should meet at someone's house again this year.

Those of you that are in town (and who might appreciate a break from relatives for a few hours) are welcome to gather at my house starting at Noon on Sunday, December 28th for a pot luck lunch.

I've got a Weber grill we can fire up and of course, the microwave, oven and stove-top will be available as will be the beer fridge in the garage.

So we don't have multiple veggie and cheese platters, post up with an idea of what you can bring to share.

Rather than post it here, I will PM my physical address to those that say they plan on attending but who haven't been here before.

Dang Dave, Heather and I can not make the 28th, family and the holidays. The following week would work. Either way have a great time :)

I know you are purposefully staying away as you know I would have you under the hood of the LV within a half hour of your arrival. ;)

There are many guys here that are far better under the hood than I am. If it has a multi port fuel injected motor that I can plug a computer into, we're on. :)
 
For next Sunday's gathering, I'm planning to make Taco Soup. It's really more like chili and it will be moderately spicy.

As for working on the LV, thanks to Eric's help on Friday, I was able to drive it a mile or so around my subdivision yesterday at dusk with the headlights on. I hit 20+ miles per hour and was in 2nd gear. I look forward to pulling it out of the garage for "show and tell."

I'm not aware of anyones plans to do any wrenching while we're there. Unfortunately, the weather forecast is a 70% chance of rain but I can make space in the garage if we need to.

I am planning on coming. We gave away all our Christmas goodies (nacho dip and desserts) and now Amanda has a terrible cold and is staying out of the kitchen. Can I bring some store-bought stuff? Maybe sodas and paper products or whatever we might need? David, PM me to let me know what y'all need to pull this off and I'll get it.

I am unlikely. Found out late this afternoon that my mother was admitted to the hospital this morning. I'll be making a dawn run to the Asheville area tomorrow. If I make it by, it will be late.
