Who: Cruiser addicts in the greater-Charlotte area

What: "Meeting" at which we can share knowledge over cold beers

When: Sunday, May 18th; 4pm - until (***NEW DATE AND TIME ***)

Where: IceHouse SouthEnd on South Blvd.

Why: Does it really matter when there are cold beers, good food and Land Cruisers involved?

As I've said before, we've had good luck in the past with the food, service and parking at IceHouse, which is a central locaiton.

Post up if you can make it. If too many people have scheduling conflicts, we'll push it to later in the month (but avoid Mother's Day).

Camping @ Fort Fisher with the Cub Scouts the 4th weekend. Can do pretty much any other time.

Camping trip cancelled. I'll try to make it out Sunday if I can.

I took the plunge and started disassembling a few things on the Crockpot last night so it won't be seeing the light of day for at least a week, pending parts delivery. I think I'll sit this meeting out until it's back on the road. Y'all have fun and I'll catch you on the next one.
 
Not sure what i'm doing on sunday. Got lots of plans to work around the house but nothing set in stone yet. Most likely could meet for a beer but not a huge fan of the food/beer or service at the ice house though.

But we've changed venues at the charlotte meets 4 times so i'm not going ot make a huge deal out of it and if i'm around I will be there. ;)

CHANGE OF DATE TO SUNDAY, MAY 18TH. I hope this will allow more people to attend, including Eric who will hopefully have stories and photos from the Spring Tide Ride (aka STR).

We can discuss a change of venue when we meet.
 
Should make it ... gonna be a long weekend that one: Workday at Uwharrie, BHTM (Ok only BHT) show on Saturday Night, beers with cruiserheads on Sunday!

Before I forget:
I stopped into Burger Co for lunch today at 1pm. Lots of outside seating on 2 covered areas. The inside is a cavernous space that was ungodly loud with chatter and some music. It was maybe 1/2-full and there was no way I could hear well enough to have a conversation inside. It seems to only be full service at the bar and maybe outside. Inside is like VBGB where you place your order at a window and somebody brings it out. Parking was more than ample in 2 lots.

Food was good. Burgers are the main items. They'll do them with beef, turkey or ground chicken. Sides are the basics. I saw some salads that looked pretty good.

Beer selection wasn't huge but was pretty good. Daily specials.
