Hi Everyone,

There has been some talk from time to time about Tuesday's not being a good day for some folks to come and have some BBQ.

So here is what I want to do.

Respond to this if you would like to meet on a different day and/or a different place. If you want to continue to meet at Rudy's include that to.

I'll go first: Mon or Wed work best for me. I don't really care where we meet as long as it the place is relatively central. Waterloo Icehouse 8600 N. Burnet has a meeting room if we are interested.

I'm hit or miss so the day of the week is not that important to me, BTW Waterloo location works for me.
 
Wednesdays at Waterloo could work.

Waterloo is cool with me. Don't much care what day it is.
 
I have a scout meeting every Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday work for me. I like Rudy's, but Waterloo will work. How about meeting at Top Notch Burger on Burnet?
 
Waterloo is a good option.

Another possibility is Pinthouse Pizza....now open on Burnet Road. Plenty of seating indoors, big parking lot out back. Bad acoustics.

Hey...I agreed that Waterloo was a good option. You'll have to admit that we hipsters are the only group that fully appreciates your gold lame upholstery. :cool:
 
i think your talking about Waterloo Icehouse just up the street from my shop. if so it's really close to the shop & if ever any one wants to hang out and work on there cruisers here after the meeting we can do that also.
just pick a day and time & i will be there.


on a side note: we now have been here for a year. so we need to start planing a hang out / lunch thing. maybe this time i will have the food ready in time.
also we can try and do a work weekend some time.
 
I vote to leave it as is. There are guys who are not on Mud and know that it's the last Tuesday of the month at Rudys- they show up periodically. Also, CnC is at Central Market, which was picked for it's central location for the central/south Austin folks. Most importantly, the Rover guys would miss us :0

I'm with you. As much as I don't like Rudy's marginal food, it's a good location, and the turnouts are decent. There was a good turnout last week, just not everyone went inside. If this moves to Central Austin, (and for me, Burnet locations are Central Austin, as I'm not a SoCo hipster), I'll probably make either C&C or this one monthly, but not both.
 
I'm in for what is decided, if we meet on Burnet, that knocks about 15 minutes off my travel time to and from, I have no problems moving it or it staying the same. Jason does have a point though...
 
Not to stir up pot again but did we come to a decision on this?
