I just reread 1974FJ's thread topic on using a 80 series with a centered t-case. I am thinking about what I could do with a 80 series rear in my cruiser. mainly because I think you can get the e-lockers cheaper than ARB's and the install would be easier.
I have never set up gears so that scares me. can't afford the install $. I have also read lots of info about poor installs on ARB's soooo. I am just looking at all kinds of options. here are some of my Q's. Does anyone have any answers or comments or thoughts...
Can you center an 80 series e-locker axle the same way a 60 series is centered? Does anyone make a long splined axle for the one side if it is centered?
How could I run the driveline for an 80 series with an NP205?
Keep in mind it's my DD and it would be going in 1988 FJ62...SOA
my rear d-shaft is around 30" if that matters?
