Do most of the consoles get bolted directly to the metal in pics? Or does it have to get bolted to frame of the car? I am using an out of place console from a jeep.......

Ok, Trying to figure out how to mount a Tuffy or something without too much drilling. It has a 350 conversion and a good deal of rust.......
Seems like all of the LC vendors that sell Tuffy consoles or similar also sell this type of mount that uses the stock mounting arrangement.
Look on the front of the seat frame between the seat mounts. You'll see two holes where the console mount screws in (stock and Tuffy). I think the rear of the console mount uses the inside rear seat mount bolts, if my memory is correct. There is a difference in model year for Tuffy mounts but I forget the dates.
