Maybe we can talk Jonathan Jones in to another t-shirt design? 2015 LR is one of my favorite event shirts.
Great idea! Paging @lumbee1

You made the cut. ;) You are a shoe-in for the iron butt award.

Suggest you extend an invite to the Upstate Cruisers. Lots of Relics down there.
Done.

Nice job! I'll have to play around with that.

STICKERS

David, shoot this guy an E-mail, he is a buddy of Onur's. He did my stickers and Onur's as well. He can do pretty much any amount.

Sweet. I will be hitting the garage sales for the next couple months to get all my relics in order for the run. I won't need 88 giga watts to go back to the 70s

I have permission.... Please put me on the list !

I am new to this group, so I don't know what everyone's capabilities are - but with all these old rigs, I hope we will have someone there that is good with a wrench (and a winch).

I think Izzy mentioned it earlier, a couple "support" vehicles back at base camp might not be a bad idea. It looks as though the event is getting some attention from other clubs as well so providing some support would be a good idea on the part of the club.

Good try @NCFJ

Not "trying" anything Rafael. Remember our trip to Hurricane Creek with two "relics" needing to be iced down, one requiring brake repairs? Imagine 20 relics together. My point is more that this is shaping up to be a larger event and as a club perhaps we should offer the service of support vehicles of some sort. If I was that pressed to attend I would fire up my 69 and make the brakes work and trailer it over.

Moonshine can serve as a support vehicle no problem.

LOL

Not sure why that's funny to you Stan, I'm being serious.

Everyone going needs to make sure their vehicle is in good running condition. I'll have tools, fluids and some select parts for my truck, but everyone needs to make sure to bring what they think is most likely to break!

The advantage of having so many similar trucks (in age) is that people can share parts. If something really bad happens, we'll be able to come up with a workaround or temp fix, or get the damaged truck out to a road where it can be picked up by a tow truck, just like any other event.

I'm pumped!!

I understand that everyone needs to be responsible for their own vehicle but, if the objective is to attract as many “relics” to this event as possible, some of us who do not have the mechanical capabilities to repair our vehicles or stock the necessary replacement parts may be reluctant to come.
