Sale fell through on my reman carb.... you guys offer up some money theres no telling what I will sell these for.

Can't tell all from the pics, but...

#1 is missing the linkage return spring and looks like the secondary is frozen.

#2 looks like the diaphram bracket fore the A/C idle up is bent almost 45 degrees out of shape. Also missing the linkage spring.

#3 is missing a screw on the secondary diaphram.

Have you checked what other cores have been offered for on the forum?

GL with the sale. Honestly.:)

hate when people try to make them self seem smart by......... high jacking a parts ad !!!!!!!!

I think I would listen and trust Mark if he posted something about what I had for sale. I have never heard one bad thing about him and he has been around this site for a while.

You guys Bashing Mark A. for giving you a heads up on the Carb's your selling need to step back ? How long have you been into Cruiser's ? Its all about honestly here and don't get offended if someone's trying to point out your stuff might have a problem save's alot of BS later. Lighten up and take some advice from those who with more experance. Then after you have been doing this awhile you can bump heads with someone who's been rebuilding Carb's longer than you have been alive. The floks here on MUD are family, stick around long enough and you will find out. Its not about getting a username and dumping parts. For alot of us its a lifestyle.

Everything Mark posted is accurate. He did not slander of make inappropriate comments

Isn't it better to let buyers know what you have instead of having an upset buyer when thee receive stuff.

You would have done better to address his comments and even thank him for helping with the accuracy of your ad.

Since everyone on here is so enlightened and intellegent.... maybe I can shine some light in to a private message that was sent where I DID thank Mark and asked him what the approximate value would be on the items however I have not gotten a response back. The comment was simply to state that if you are not interested in some items for sale or feel that a post is not accurate then maybe the matter should be discussed in private.

Honestly, I'm just impressed that he was able to deduce this from looking at pictures. If anything, I'm glad he pointed those out, so interested parties would know what to do, It goes without saying that items purchased through the forums would need some work. I wish someone had done that for the carb on my truck.
