Is there some secret code to removing the front skid plate? i have removed that heavy rascal before but this time something is holding it right in the center at the jack point and tranny plug.

What on earth am I missing?

There's one bolt hidden up in the circular hole in the middle. Did you get that one?

Nope sure didn't. going back out to find it. Thanks

Dang....I just got it. I saw it and thought it was the tranny plug without thinking about it. I was prolly still miffed about loosing a screw that holds the A/C line to the condensor. Man I feel like a booger. Now to find the stupid screw.

Thanks DirtDawg

My bolt in the hole by the tranny plug won’t back out. Just spins. I assume it’s threaded into the support and doesn’t have a nut on the tops side...

Any pointers?

Have you tried prying under the bolt head gently while you unscrew it? This helps "motivate" the bolt in the right direction and also puts downward pressure on captive bolts that have snapped off.

That’s what I ended up doing. Got it off this morning. The threads about halfway down the bolt were flat so it was just spinning.
