I am at the point where I need to replace my radiator and as per recommendations from previous posts I am trying to go OEM.
From everything I read OEM is T-Rad (part no-16400-50210) which I can't seem to find at any of the OEM parts websites and it pushes me to part number 16400-50360. To which the parts specialist mentioned in response to a question that it's a Denso.
Now given all that should I go with 16400-50360? If not, a link to the T-rad OEM part would be greatly appreciated. If yes to Denso, should I go with Rock Auto's parts as it's almost half the price or should I get it from the same website?

If you can wait a couple weeks, Serra Toyota will probably have a new years sale. They will have an amazing price and they will repackage the radiator so it will arrive undameged. I ordered a radiator for my 2001 from Toyota parts deal 2 years ago and had to return it because the radiator (T-RAD) was damaged.

I have the CSF aluminum , no regrets, its a very solid peice.

I unfortunately need to get it done over the next two weekends. Road trip coming up over the holidays.

Get a T.Rad. Look how long they have lasted. Nobody has had a CSF for 20 years yet.

50210 is superseded to 50360 when I look in the parts diagrams. So that's the one you want.

I've used Lagrange Toyota for lots of parts since Serra gets so backed up with sales. They've shipped everything great, even radiators.

Link to your radiator.

Do I need any extra parts along with it? Heard they don't come with the foam to cushion.
I’d stick with the factory one- if one of these aftermarket guys comes back and says his radiator is held up after 20 years and 250k miles then I’d trust it.

I think Toyota or "their contractor" need to up their game on packaging OEM radiators. I've purchased 8 aftermarket radiators from a variety of sources over the past 15 years and not once received a damaged product. Also, the OEM starter I purchased arrived damaged due to improper packaging.

I appreciate Serra Toyota's dedication to quality and repackaging.

But is poor packaging a reputation that Toyota Motor Company is seeking to earn?

I think you want to blame the dealers for that, not TMC specifically. If TMC was drop-shipping items direct to customers then I'd ding them.

It's an accurate assessment, though!
