I had no intention of wheeling it. My understanding of the road going into Alans house was that I would get some pin striping. Thats all. A Mile in and I knew it was going to be bad. Not as if I could have turned around.

CC's 80 was bought with the intention of staying stock. Shall always be stock and will not be wheeled until it is the only cruiser I own. That will probably be forever. Scratches can be fixed. This cruiser has been painted at least a half dozen times. It is close to pristine but it has it's flaws. All of which time and money will fix. Right now it's my DD and on the back burner while I rebuild the 40 and restore the 55.

It's been a great vehicle. I thank CC everyday in my mind for selling it to me.

Marshall, Marshall, Marshall!! I'm just ribbing you:bounce:about the inadvertent scratches you received while having fun on Saturday!! As you pointed out, it's not the first time she's had pin stripes. Hell, it's your car. Do anything you want with it or to it!!!

'Pristine' was a joke, too. It would not be an appropriate word to use to describe a vehicle with 200K miles on it .

Enjoy and keep posting your escapades!!!!

I hope everyone saw boombapslappy's face after he rode in. He was going to wheel his wife's 100 but changed his mind at the last minute. I think he was pleased with his decision! :grinpimp:

:) I was teasing you. Your truck man, do whatever you want!

Holy cow that had me laughing. Those are famous last words that I've heard more than once from our fearless events coordinator.

I always treat those comments with the proper amount of skepticism.
