I love the way we try to simplify:

"Only requires a body swap"
"Driveable if repaired"

Thanks for posting

rolled?? looks as tho a tree fell across it.

If I lived any closer I would be all over it

Try to find a 13BT,H55 and I believe PTO winch and full floater axles plus all the a/c accessories

Do the math on those parts alone

Get yourself a rustfree 40 and swap it all out, there is no way to do this cheaper then that..............that being said I would try to get it for around 5 K though ;-)

Just my 2 cents

What would shipping and brokers fees cost to the southern US cost, $3000 maybe??

Guys. I followed this threst because I'm the instigator

I repeat ... I have no affiliation with the seller. I just contacted him to ask him some info about his LC. I also offered to post his ad on MUD to the benefit the community, as well as himself too.

However, I do not understand some attitude. You are interested, good. You're not interested it is good too. But, even if it is a discussion forum, comments, opinions or position are not always relevant to share. Should you be baffled to see people speculating about your classified ad. (again, I do not take it personal ... I have no interest in this sale).

Yesterday, I was to the point to write a little someting about that... but I decided not to do so and let the thing go... until I read, this morning, joekatana's repply.

He goes right to the facts that I wanted share. The value of the parts speak themselves.

So, moreover, how worth the P/S assy, a non-rotten 70 SWB frame, rust free rear slidding window frame, 70 serie gear box, LSD 3rd, 70 serie rears doors hinges, turbo tag, inclinometer ? Go figure how woth a 13BT ehxaust manifold.

All in all, it is not a bad deal... IMO.

If you want to buy this truck for parts, what does this change have a tree fell on the roof?

At the end, if for you guys, 7K ( -----> canadian $ <----- ) is to much, offer him the amount you think is fair and let see if you can buy it.

... without grudge ...

Hi David, I don't think any of the attitude was directed towards you. In fact, it was only because it was a linked, unaffiliated for sale thread that we felt at liberty to discuss it. Your efforts for posting this are certainly appreciated.

No, no ! It’s OK… and I don’t take it personal… And the way you present your point of view make more sense to me, now.

Wow. Glad to see this ad. Makes me grateful for paying less than that for my DD BJ71 (which I bought so I'd have an extra 13BT). Thanks for posting.

New price. The seller may be flexible ... try your luck!
