So far the 2 barrel Holley works like a CHAMP! The 1st test was a steep grade rock crawl - up, over, and down both ways. Before working the carb, in the same spot the Holley flooded and killed the motor having to restart 3 times one way - making an uncomfortable climb that took much effort having to work the three pedals - heel/toe. Now the Cruiser just crawled up and over, never touching the clutch - purring with zero hesitation, no stumble, and no loss of power! Though the terrain was uneven, rough, and jagged it was a cake walk. Along with the properly prepared Holley the FJ40 has 4" Rock Springs with Shackle reversal, Saginaw with High steer, Power brakes, Front discs, ARBs, 35" on 8x15, 4:1 Orion linked to the 3 speed, and Skid plate. Driving on the street the F motor runs very smooth. Bottom-line, have no fear - working on the Holley was extremely easy!!!
