the cruiser you just posted didn't show up on the link? did you happen to get the info? Also, I have my eye on a 1999 with factory rear lockers. 95k miles and in very good all around condition. what would be everyones opinion on price. It has no mods and is totally stock. it was owned by the owner of a Toyota dealership. it was his cabin vehicle. no rust anywhere. Thanks. I am looking to get rid of my 2006 F-150 crew cab.

I'm still looking for a good 100.
This is what I get when I do a country wide search on Autotrader.

Really? :bang:

Try AutoTempest.com

I had to pour through CL ads throughout the county before I found mine, but there are plenty good ones out there. But I did end up driving one back from AZ to Denver in the end.

That is a rediculous price if it is real.

I dunno about that. The same one popped up in Vancouver. I bet the BC one is fake though. The email address in the St. Louis one seem legitimate. How many Delfina Glanstrom are there anyway.

Will do, thanks. I would like to see results limited to Canada, I prefer not to go through all the trouble of importing one. Although one from AZ would be tempting... no rust!

Whoops. Missed the tidbit that you were from N of the border. I think that search will limit to miles from a location, or sort by distance, which will probably work. I had the most luck with CL down here. There seems to be a price disconnect with dealers right now, I think they are still buying at auction for too much.

I'm not sure why the link didn't work for you - I just tried it and it listed the Land Cruiser. There's no phone # with the listing - but here is the Email address delfinagranstrom@hotmail.com for the individual that listed it. Hope that Helps....

What year LX470?

Im in the market for used LX470 for my wife, mostly just daily drive or grocery getter or you can call soccer mom just to go to point A to point B,what year LX470 do you guys recommended?
Correct me if im wrong started year 2002- 2004 those model year you can't flush, change the tranny fluid??

So far my wife like the 2004 updated interior, any thought guys?

Many thanks,
Jr

I love my 2000 but wouldnt mind an updated interior. No problem with DIY maintenance. Got the 4 pinion diff. and don't have to deal with silly Toyota hvac / nav screen.

03 was updated interior and the 5spd replaced the 4. In 2004 they removed the transmission dipstick, not a big deal.

Get the newest you can afford, that's my advice.

Since it's going to be the family rig, I'd stick with minimally 2000+ for the ATRAC system, but 2003+ would be best as it has the side air bags. You can't put a price on their lives.

the wife likes her 2005. she'd like a little better gas mileage, but sure likes the comfort and the ride and safety

I echo 1LoudLX and get newest you can afford within reason.

'06 and up has vvti which makes the truck much more peppy.

Hi Guys,

I am looking at a 2005 LX470 55k miles, one owner, garage kept, über clean. It has the Navi, Levinson, running boards, etc. what is a good price for this vehicle? What sort of maintenance am I looking at in the next 50k miles.

I know they are extremely reliable long term (200k miles with proper service) but don't want to get hit with unexpected expenses.

Also, what about all the electronic goodies? Are there any known systems that are prone to fail?

Thanks for everyone's help. I am looking forward to your input.

Regards,

Snappy

looking at a 99LC-have questions

Hello everyone. So I'm looking at a 99 LC with 160000 miles on it, and I have questions about the head gaskets- is there a known issue after a certain mileage that they will fail? Besides replacing the timing belt and water pump at 90000, replacing thermostat, coolant, is there anything else to look after? I hope the transmissions last a long time with the proper maintenance. I've read about weaker front diff. Is this an issue if not used for heavy off-roading?
Thanks.
Ilian
