Guys, went to go check out this 2000 TLC 100 series yesterday. The pics online are great and the write up makes it seem almost too good to be true. A quick run of the VIN and it's spent it's whole life in Massachusetts. Nothing erks me more than shady dealerships buying rusted out cars from the North and bringing them down South to try and sell at a premium.
Upon arrival, the interior is in very good condition and it drives pretty solid, but a quick glance underneath and the entire undercarriage has been coated in some black thick truck bed coating to hide all the rust. Some of it even got on the exhaust, which had a terrible burning smell during the test drive. Please avoid.

The second one I checked is a nice 2006 LX470 (interior very nice). Checked the VIN and it also is a northern truck and is covered in rust underneath.
