Up for grabs is a well maintained and tastefully modified 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series, finished in a stunning custom Galactic Gray. This two-owner example boasts 180,000 miles and has been diligently cared for, with an extensive list of recent maintenance and upgrades performed by Toyota dealerships and respected Land Cruiser specialists using OEM parts. Located in Round Rock, TX, this Cruiser is ready for its next adventure, whether on the trail or as a reliable daily driver. We are reluctantly selling as it's no longer our daily driver and our growing kids need a vehicle with more modern safety features.

The Truck:
This 100 Series Land Cruiser is powered by the legendary 4.7L V8 engine, paired with a smooth 4-speed automatic transmission. The robust powertrain is known for its bulletproof reliability, which has been further enhanced by comprehensive preventative maintenance.

Recent Maintenance & Upgrades (since 2020, receipts available):
  • Professional Custom Paint: Full repaint in 2023 to Toyota Galactic Gray by Eagle Paint & Body, with all doors, windshield, and trim removed for a high-quality finish.
  • Powertrain:
    • Doug Thorley Headers and flow master muffler installed in 2022, improving exhaust flow and sound.
    • OEM Timing and drive belt replacement in 2020.
    • Valve cover gaskets in 2020.
    • Spark plugs, fuel filter replaced in 2020.
    • OEM Radiator in 2020.
  • Drivetrain/Suspension:
    • Ironman 2” Lift kit installed, providing improved ground clearance and off-road capability.
    • OEM CV Axles replaced in 2020.
    • OEM Rack and Pinion with alignment in 2020, ensuring precise steering.
  • Brakes: OEM brake pads and rotors replaced in 2020.
  • Wheels & Tires:
    • Method 703 17x8.5 wheels (including a matching 5th spare).
    • New Nitto Ridge Grappler tires 285/70R17
Exterior Highlights:
The custom Galactic Gray paint sets this Land Cruiser apart, giving it a modern and aggressive look. The paint is in very good condition, a testament to the quality of the repaint. The glass is clear and in good condition. Off-road readiness is enhanced by an Ironman front bumper and custom powder-coated rock sliders, offering both protection and a rugged aesthetic. The undercarriage is in great condition.

Interior Features & Condition:
The interior is in very good condition, with notable upgrades for comfort and convenience:
  • Seating: Front seats have been reupholstered with high-quality Lseat leather. The second-row leather is in good condition, and the original third-row seats are present and in good shape, offering flexible passenger and cargo configurations.
  • Electronics: All power windows, locks (with new lock motors in 2024), and mirrors are fully functional. The AC blows ice cold.
  • Audio System: A significant audio upgrade includes a Sony XAV-5000 head unit with a backup camera and Apple CarPlay, Rockford Fosgate door speakers, and an 8” subwoofer with amplifier (installed in 2021) for a premium sound experience.
  • Lighting: All interior cabin lights have been upgraded to modern LED lighting.
  • Gauges: All dashboard gauges are fully functional.
  • Note: The rear hatch trim is loose and needs to be re-secured.
History & Records:
This Land Cruiser has had only two owners and boasts a clean Texas title with a 2 minor accident history. First minor accident was with the first owner and second was a hail damage claim that was fixed with PDR. After the PDR I decided to have the entire vehicle custom painted. All maintenance receipts and records from 2020 onwards are available, providing a comprehensive history of the significant work performed. This vehicle has been mostly garaged, further preserving its condition.

Why This Land Cruiser?
We've invested heavily in this Land Cruiser, ensuring it's not just a reliable vehicle but a highly capable and visually striking one. The 100 Series is renowned as "the most reliable vehicle known to man," and this particular example exemplifies that reputation. It handles daily driving with ease and is more than ready for any overlanding or off-road adventures you throw its way. While we absolutely hate to sell it, our family's needs have changed, prompting us to seek a vehicle with more modern safety features as our kids begin to drive. This Land Cruiser deserves a new home where it will continue to be appreciated and utilized.

Do you have a CarFax you could share? What was the mileage in 2020 when all of the work was done -- especially timing belt? Water pump done at the same time?

Any leaks or problems? More pics of undercarriage?

I'll work on getting the CarFax. Mileage for the timing belt and water pump was 171,500 miles and was done at Toyota in Katy TX. I've posted more pics of the undercarriage, let me know if you need any more photos!

Any details on the accidents? As in, what's up with damage to roof?
Hail damage (quarter size hail) ,happens about every 5-10 years in Texas. Looking back that was not the best idea to do an $750 insurance claim.... Hail damage was fixed by Paintless dent repair and then I decided to have all imperfections fixed a year later by custom painting the entire vehicle.

This is what I'm looking for. I wish it was local. GLWS!

In your initial post you claim there are no accidents, but we see the CARFAX and we find that it's had roof, front end, and rear end damage. It seems like you're trying to hide something. It looks great but the fact that the damage wasn't disclosed up front makes me worried that there are other issues.

Thanks for pointing that out. I apologize for the oversight in the original post. I included the CARFAX to be fully transparent, and you're right, it does show prior minor damage with the original owner. I had a minor hail claim ($750) that was fixed with PDR. Let me know if you'd like to talk more or see the car in person.
