After looking a little closer I see the sleeve/tube the sway bar lives in. Did you weld that to the frame?

Edit. Just reread your post. I need to wake up before I repsond...lol

Well I need to chew on this. Not sure I want to weld on the frame now that it's done. Thnx for the info
The kit did come with angle brackets to bolt it onto the frame also, which I’m sure I could have figured out. Another option

My brain is struggling with how you would bolt those in. Maybe if I bent them straight then made 2 holes in the frame. Welding is just so much easier.

I think you would have to drill on the thin side of the frame rail and install riv nuts. But I agree, it was simpler to use a hole saw and weld it in

@BurntToast I don't have anything to add to this thread except it has been a great read the last couple of years! You've gone after the details in some really elegant ways. Seeing 3D printing and services like SendCutSend being used to bring those solutions has been super cool.

Much appreciated! I’ve really enjoyed documenting and sharing my journey through this project

You know you are getting close to finishing your project when you are buying plastic trims.

My BMW seats originally had the seat belt mounts integral to the seat, and didn’t come with covers. Found some on eBay

Since these are coupe plastics going on sedan seats, little trim required
