Why would you not paint sliders the color of the frame and the object they are booted too?

Because the continuity in color from front bumper to slider to rear bumper looks good?

Sprayed a patch of the graphite onto the fourty yesterday for kicks. Looks great.

Judging from wat you say in the original post, you want the stock look? Then i would say there's no other option that grey for bumper and bumperettes. At least that's pretty much the only color I found while looking around on original flyers

Depends on the color of the body. IMO, black looks so much better with Rustic Green or Dune Beige than does gray, but YMMV.

Paint the sliders a color that is easy to touch up. If you don't need to touch them up you either have awesome paint or don't need sliders...
