The time has finally come to part with Hundy. 6 years of ownership and enjoyed them all. Moving on to a 200 for daily driving and going to search for a 40 to play. Over those years it’s been a daily driver for about 4 of them, and was relegated to playtime only for a couple.
I bought the truck with 138k miles and it’s now at 182k. It’s mechanically in great shape. Just completed a full 90k service on it and listed below are the details on what’s been done to the truck over the years in terms of upgrades etc…
The bad… beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I actually used the truck for what it was designed for , so it has its share of dents and bruises, the worst of which is on the passenger side. Pics show the passenger side in detail. I did at one point get a quote to fix it all up and it came back at $2300 for context. Never had any desire to actually fix it though… I liked the personality marks, the comfort of not having to worry about pinstripes… The interior is in pretty good shape. Leather is very good for the years. No tears or rips. Steering wheel is showing its age though, and the plastic area around the shifter is scraped up from removing the fake wood trim. The carpet is good except for a few areas behind the second row where something spilled on it and ate it up. Was like that when I bought the truck and can’t tell you what it is. Not noticable from the front or 2nd row.

The good… see the list. Most of the work was done at ACC. This thing is built and has been religiously maintained mechanically. If you are looking for a great all around wheeling, camping type of truck that can do daily driver duty, and don’t care all that much about it looking like a mall queen, this is a heck of a truck.

Located in Atlanta… some of you will know the truck. Been around for a while. b/t/w, the Yakima roofrack in one of the pics is not part of the deal. Already gone.
I’m going to price it at $12k and pretty firm on that, but also looking for a semi-built 40 that is streetable to and from events. Open to any offers there.

All records since I've owned it.

bump. Steen takes care of his junk. Good deal!

It would be worth a lot more if it didn't have that offensive letter on the passenger side rear quarter panel :flipoff2:.

Steven is a great guy and this is a great truck that I have has the pleasure of being on the trails with. It has been built right!

GLWS.

Who's "Steven" :flipoff2: Typical GT guy

Thanks for the bump guys... I may regret selling it. I got in touch with the guy who bought my 40 to see if I could get it back... he tells me no chance, it's his daily driver and he "loves it". Someone's going to love this one too.

You could buy the Avocado, I saw it was for sale! hehe

Lol, dame auto-correct on the iPad.

Btw, I know of a great 1983 BJ-42 for sale in Atlanta. It is LHD and RED (which is why I could never buy it). It has your name all over it, I think around 115k orignial miles. I drove it to the mountains to a Rover event last year and it was AWESOME! I was grinning the whole time...even while changing the 80s radiator in the Wal-mart parking lot in Blairsville. After driving it through the mountains, I have overwelming diesel ENVY.

Steen,

Check this out:

I almost emailed him with pictures of my rig. However I can't do a 2 door rig. Good luck with the sale, if you want to sell that Slee rear bumper I'll take it :D. I hear resale value is much higher for vehicles with no bumpers.

I need to stay focused on selling before I get too excited about buying! That's one cool truck!

Here's a couple of interior pics... Traveling this weekend so this is all I have.

Front seat leather is in great shape. In the 2nd row, I've removed the single seat and built a fridge platform. It's attached to a home made shelf unit in the back... Nothing special but functional. I have all seats including 3rd row stored. Everything except the fridge is included.

Thanks... All PMs responded to.

Sorry for the delay... PMs responded to.

Good luck selling, and good luck with your 40 search. I've seen this rig a few times in traffic up in Alpharetta and its definitely one of te more badass 100s I've seen.

Thank you sir! I'm noticing 40's prices are a lot higher than just a couple of years ago...

This is a great deal on all those items.... If you get into selling off parts we could swap out the ARB Front Locker into mine for some $$.

If you dont sell are you taking it to gsmtr ?

Just sold it locally... to a great buyer  Will be able to see it in action possibly in the future. I was kind of hoping he woudn't like it. Sellers remorse. :crybaby:

I am still up in the air on GSMTR. Going to be traveling a ton up until that week and may be ready for a weekend on the couch by then. I'd need a seat if I do go. The 200 will still likely have running boards by then and I doubt I'll have found a 40 to play with by then.

You can ride with me Steen, I can even pick you up since you are local (weekend only)
