The time has finally come to part with Hundy. 6 years of ownership and enjoyed them all. Moving on to a 200 for daily driving and going to search for a 40 to play. Over those years it’s been a daily driver for about 4 of them, and was relegated to playtime only for a couple.
I bought the truck with 138k miles and it’s now at 182k. It’s mechanically in great shape. Just completed a full 90k service on it and listed below are the details on what’s been done to the truck over the years in terms of upgrades etc…
The bad… beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I actually used the truck for what it was designed for , so it has its share of dents and bruises, the worst of which is on the passenger side. Pics show the passenger side in detail. I did at one point get a quote to fix it all up and it came back at $2300 for context. Never had any desire to actually fix it though… I liked the personality marks, the comfort of not having to worry about pinstripes… The interior is in pretty good shape. Leather is very good for the years. No tears or rips. Steering wheel is showing its age though, and the plastic area around the shifter is scraped up from removing the fake wood trim. The carpet is good except for a few areas behind the second row where something spilled on it and ate it up. Was like that when I bought the truck and can’t tell you what it is. Not noticable from the front or 2nd row.
The good… see the list. Most of the work was done at ACC. This thing is built and has been religiously maintained mechanically. If you are looking for a great all around wheeling, camping type of truck that can do daily driver duty, and don’t care all that much about it looking like a mall queen, this is a heck of a truck.
Located in Atlanta… some of you will know the truck. Been around for a while. b/t/w, the Yakima roofrack in one of the pics is not part of the deal. Already gone.
I’m going to price it at $12k and pretty firm on that, but also looking for a semi-built 40 that is streetable to and from events. Open to any offers there.
All records since I've owned it.
