Those tires are going to look siiiick! Mine came with some goodies too. I am thinking of coming down from a 5" lift to 3" lift. Just need to figure out if I can simply swap out the springs. It's got drop brackets, DC driveshaft and other mods etc that would go with a 5".

If you have a 5" lift them everything should be fine for the lift I have . IIRC the MAF drop brackets only go to 4", then it becomes a combo of bracket and bushing. So you could remove the bushing and probably be right with the castor. The DC will be fine. Brakes lines should be fine. Depending on what you did for sway bars/panhards/rear control arms (if anything) I am guessing they should all work with minimal modification. You may need new shocks depending on what your set-up is.

MAF 30mm coil packers.

Installed. Truck sits almost completely level now. Perfect.

Weird thing is it actually drives better now than with just the FOR lift? Steering is much tighter. Maybe my drop brackets were a bit too much for the FOR lift and now my caster is better? One thing I noticed is that there is WAY more body roll when turning heavy left (I think, have to double check that, damn short term memory). I feel like the tire wants to roll over on itself. Could that be due to the panhard shifting the axle over?

Looks great!

I had noticed a similar effect after installing the spacers, but for me the steering got easier and felt more consistent throughout..

Odd huh? ... Yeah, maybe "tighter" isn't the right word. It feels like there is less play, it's more responsive. Need to get my alignment done for sure. But i want to wait on getting the panhard issue dealt with first. So everything is how Its going to be.

I thought it looked pretty good before. I was holding out judgement, thought the 30mm spacer in the front would make it a bit reverse stink. It didn't at all, guess I didn't realize it had that much angle until I saw the difference in the pics.

I know how it goes mod'ing. Your original plan goes out the window and the sickness begins. Esp when there are forums like these around.

Yeah, but I am ok with the sickness. I loved driving my 80 before. Now with the new altitude I love it even more. I cant wait to get the tires on!:bounce2:

I want spacers for the front but I am waiting and hoping when 4x4labs bumper comes into play it'll sit level with front.

I have never been a big fan of chrome on my vehicles, especially weathered, pitted, chrome. So I did a little project during my afternoon break.

Chromed.

Also got half way through the rear heater bypass. Did the easier (still a son-of-a bitch) hose. Hopefully Ill get the harder hose done tomorrow, or this weekend.

I am doing my wheels black tomorrow! Trim at some point, looks good!

I like how the clear ones look. But I also really like how tinted looks also. VHT works ok, but by far the best is to use tinted clear coat. You can make them as dark as you want and the light shines thru really well. Altho with everything else murdered out it might be a bit much.

Finished the rear heater bypass mod. I plan on replacing that worm clamp with a constant tension clamp, that was all that the parts store had.
