When I go camping I dont shower unless it rains. :D

 to that.

Or atleast in my case... go fishing, standing on the bow of the boat, and my friend PURPOSELY puts the trolling motor on high to a side pull. And WHOOP, there I go, right into some tullies mid hook set ...

Got the new rubber on today. Doesnt ride as smooth as the 285 at's... but I like it. Oh how I missed tire hum. No noticeable difference in power, just a little in braking. It actually cruises at a much nicer rpm on the freeway. Black out of the rims, longer LCA's, and panhards are next.

That looks great... The rims will look even better when there aren't white...

Tech question.. How much coolant did you loose bypassing the rear heater?? Also what are you planning for the newly found space under the seat??

looking good !!!!!

Lost about half a pint at most, maybe. Basically what was in the lines from the firewall up. Havent got the heater core out yet, but Ill probably keep the space open for now.

BTW- I can see why being on this forum makes you want to mod your truck. The truck looks huge in person, but the photos still make it look small!

Looking really good....and making a ton of progress....can't wait to start in on mine.....nicely done!

Definitely like the blacked out grill. Looks good.

Looks good!

And I think that's dull alum, not white.

What finish are you going for on the wheels?

Yeah, they used to be polished aluminum, but it looks like they were cleaned with detergents a few too many times and washed out. I am going to go with a gloss black on the wheels to match the grill and trim. When I do bumpers I will have them the same color. Eventually Id like to make the whole truck black,
secret service ninja knight rider assassin style.:D

37s look great on these trucks, just right in my opinion, even though 35s are big on others they are not on the 80s, way to go! Keep it up

Nothing "secret service ninja knight rider assassin style" about a built 80 on 37's.....but I approve....

Looking good! Now come out with us and test that bad boy out!

Trust me, I want to. Most of my wheeling experience is from back east. Been with a couple buddies out here in their trucks... whole different ball game on the rocks. Still have a few things to finish up before I feel comfortable taking the 80 off the pavement.

i ve wheeled a 80, 60 and 40, all are point and shoot rigs. especially that 80

Good advice Chappy. Looking forward to getting out into new territory. And BTW, thanks for doing what you do. I have a few good buddies that are SEALS. It sucks when they are gone and I have no idea where they are and how they are doing... Glad you are back on U.S. soil.

your welcome.
