Well, what can I say other than what an awesome day of wheeling. This was without a doubt the most damage I have sustained in a single day. I guess that's the price one pays for being a trail "guinea pig":D:crybaby:. No worries, It was a GREAT run; sorry for everyone that didn't make it and a little sorry for those that didn't get to run the entire length of the Bronco Peak Trail, which would basically be everyone other than Mo and I:flipoff2:. Sorry , couldn't resist. On the upside, I was probably the first one home:rolleyes:. Ok, I have to get a shower so I will post a few pics, but I don't have the energy to to deal with Photobucket right now. So, without any further blather from me, onto the pics:

Actually, I did get some damage from the Rubicon as well. I have a habit of choosing my own lines which sometimes pays off better than others. However, on this trail there were no discernable signs as to which lines previous traveler's had taken. I think that Mo had a slight advantage being behind me and therefore learning from my mistakes. I received abot 95% of my damage in the last 50 yards of the trail on two trees:mad:.

Hey Steve, did you guys run East to West, or the opposite? When Garry (Vistataco) and I ran it last year, we did east-west. We didn't have nearly the damage that it sounds like you guys did. Did you guys leave enough evidence as far as tire tracks so that we can follow MO's lines??:flipoff2:

So was it just the body cladding or do you thing the tabs pushed in the panels. I know I have a dent at the bottom of a front fender flare where the bottom tab pushed it in. Well now you have an excuse to lose all the plastic and Rhino. Some Hanna hoops could have helped you out on the back end apparently.

Yeah, we ran east to west finishing in the campground. I think that when you run it again in an 80, you will find it a little more difficult to avoid damage. And yes, you can follow my trail of broken clips and tail light crumbs:flipoff2:

I have underling metal damge in a few places but nothing as bad as the right rear door after the Rubicon. I just unclipped the lower portion of my left front door panel and pushed most of the dent back out. I still don't know if I'd rather pull the flares or repair them. I really like the look of flares over flareless.

Damn....That looked like a good time. I should have my truck together enough soon to begin thinking about those types of trails. Hey Mo - How did the new bumper hold up ? It looks great on the trail and I (and everyone else) can't wait to bolt one onto my truck!

Looks like I will have the perfect opportunity to F my truck up next weekend when we run Bronco with TTORA.

If you ended up at the campground then you ran the "bypass" and not the full trail? If that is the case then I think that is the more difficult way.
