Search, plenty of info. Great mod by RavenTai to the OEM gauge, A-pillar gauge pods, OBD computers, etc.

I miss my supercharger . . . .

But Cory, you have IFS and get to be like E9999 now:D

I just ordered a scangauge from this guy in Ottawa $165 CAN +gst (free shipping to Calgary). Gauge works great in 97 FZJ80.
Great service as well.....three days to get to calgary via Canada Post - Expresspost.

Nice guys, that's where I bought mine from (in person).

Definitely an easier way to get accurate temps than ripping my dash apart/soldering stuff (for myself anyway), and the OBD II code reader is great for the old P0401 and such.

Congrats!

I dont run anything, although I should, and so should you. I have the parts for the raventia temp mod, but have not had time to do it. I have an extra set of resistors that you can have for free if you want. I wound up changing out my fan, and rad too, due to a misinterpreted overheating issue - I had a bubble in cooling system. I would like to get a scangauge, but for some strange reason keep reasoning myself out of buying one. I hope all goes well. The guys/girls at pro-avtive are some fine upstanding folk, I am quite sure that you wont be disappointed.

Karl

karl... whats the raventia mod??

i just ordered a scangauge.... you might have to help me set it up...maybe you could use it to check your temps if you want.

I am realy happy with my '94....However....it looks like no scan guage for me:crybaby:

when you guys got your SC did you add mechanical gauges... or just the scangauge?

congrats..

Looking at those..

If I had not done a turbo install and fab on a low slung 2+2midgets car before I would really be looking for one.

Looking at ball bearing turbos being just big enough to carry a low boost level to the redline. Looking at the stock turbo size to engine size relationship on a passenger car (non super high perf) will be about the right ratio. Not saying to use that turbo but sized the same in relation to engine size and boost level.

Not going to be seeing 35psi on a auto meter procomp gauge in the 80 series like in the car

Congrats on the find, I'm jealous.

So when are the new ones going to be avaliable? I've heard rumors......... but who knows?

L.C. Engineering bought the rites from TRD. They are tooling up to start making these again. I should know...They have my 80 in their shop right now working on this as we speak. Call Jon in the r&d department.

i see you have a 94 so i take it they are doing it for the 93-94 years?

To my knowledge, they are doing it for the 93-97. They are also in the middle of writing a fuel mapping program and some other little things to make it better than it was. we are also discussing adding a seventh injector.

I can see the 7th injector for the 93-94s but the 95-97s need to go the other way. For the later years they should take a close look at my MAF housing and the improvements it has made.
