Paid my mobile mechanic to do a rear brake job for me. He's usually very Dilligent. Part of getting it ready for regular driving.

Now that I've been driving it more, when I slam on the brakes the rear passenger locks up way before the others... Honestly before I fell like I'm really braking that aggressively... Hard, but not as hard as in other vehicles.

Do I need to adjust the drum brrake on that side?

The proportioning valve? (that just does front to rear right?)

If so how?

Thanks?,

I would pull that drum apart and check it out (or call the guy who did it). Take the LSPV out of the equation, if you have a rear brake working that means the other side has fluid too. Either it’s adjusted too tight/ over adjusting OR the rear driver ain’t working.

I will say even with stock brakes and 33x10.5’s on my FJ60 I can lock up the brakes. Couldn’t tell you which ones are locking up, but I definitely have to mash the pedal to be able to do that.

If both sides weren't overhauled with identical components, that would cause uneven braking
