Found this at a small shop in Chattanooga Saturday. Was surprised to see it as it was just released a few weeks ago….they only had the one bottle.
A good friend of mine is the new head of the single barrel program at Castle & Key. She just moved there from working at my favorite distillery, Smooth Ambler. Let me know what you think of it when you open it!

I'm in Kentucky. I've seen the Willet around... usually at small liquor stores attached to gas stations (and occassionaly a bottle of Pappy... not kidding). Eagle Rare... well, I haven't seen it in some time. When Buffalo Trace introduced Eagle Rare it was $24 a bottle. Then Bourbon mania hit and Eagle, together with a number of truly excellent inexpensive Bourbons shot up in price, and poof... they were gone.

- You take what is left in the bottom of a measuring cup from your Wife's margarita home-made mix: Juice/Cointreau/Agave/water (prior to Tequila).
- Toss in some crushed ice.
- Add your worst bourbon on the shelf.

Oh yes we have. I hope that none of you have had the displeasure of drinking this battery acid... comes in a big plastic bottle... it's cheap... very cheap... and nasty as all get out. But, when we were kids, it got he job done.

I will say, my "worst" Bourbon currently is the Maker's Mark No 46 French Oak - - but only because I prefer "regular" - You could also throw in the Evan Williams Bottled in Bond as a candidate for "worst" - but I love it

Honestly, its my current favorite. Same thing with the sales - picked it up for $23.99 in Southernm Pines downtown ABC late last year - - since then the cheapest I have seen it on sale is $29.99. Can't remember, but I think it was list price at $29.99 last year and now it is like $34.99.
