Let me say I am so glad you were not shafted. That is great. And finding the "dead sea scrolls" papers are wonderful. Great. Good luck.

Brian, I could search for those turn signals or I could just stick with the lollipop turn ones... Not!
So the engine was scraped by the PO in Pasco maybe 20 years ago. I know the number. What are the odds it still survives?

@whitey45, with these VINs they are nearly twins. The SOR VIN chart doesn't go back that far, is there earlier data somewhere?

Well if you come across an F175782 I claim that one.:p

Like Nathan said, they are out there, but it's only the adventurous ones that seek the treasure who reap the bounty. Way to stay persistent sir, quite a peach. Looking forward to seeing other little discoveries on it, pardon me, on Bonnie, and on her progression! Can't help ya on any parts unfortunately, but have a few tools that'll get your roll started.

Congrats, looking forward to seeing what it looks like with that top off

Thanks @jblatz. I needed that owners manual.

You and me both. Got it part way off. It's slow going.

Curious as to what those seat tags say, especially if it was description of materials or such. @jblatz ?

That squiggle and arrow in the Lighting switch (B) part of mine isn't ink. It's punched clear through. You can also see where it's been shorted a few times.

Ah, a “lighting” bolt mark, eh? If she wasn’t Bonnie already I guess Harry Potter might be an option 😂.

@middlecalf, it's going to take more than a little wizarding, and much elbow grease to get this running.

trailer socket. annie had one too. there's a little chain that runs from the door to the tab under your dash. it had a vinyl cover like the tailgate chains. i had my service booklet too. check out my "little orphan annie thread"...she was an original 62 softy also, so you may find useful info.
kinda cool. this should be a nice rig when you finish it.
@nuclearlemon, Annie's thread was one of those that started me down this road. I don't think Bonnie will ever rival L.O. Annie's sleepover at the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum (or her great escape).

Did some edits to make this thread stand alone from the classified one.

Nothing about materials on the tag, just manufacturing information. Manufacturer name may not be correct. But it
appears to be different from the seat manufacturer for mid-70s Land Cruisers, which was Marutaka.
