I really like the patina. It didn't have a working switch, but @oregon fj knew how to find one. And, it's NOS!

These worked for my Hupp install (but take it easy with the little clips, they are the weak part)

They also sell a kit with these and hose. I think I cut off the louver ends and used them to fit the hose to the stock defrost deflectors iirc.

Used the same lighted (when on) switch too!

I know this doesn't classify as a box heater but still it Toyota and a heater. Saw this puppy on e-bay. 1965 gas fed heater. From the description it says it's Toyota out of a sports. How cool would that be in a 25/40

So the fan drafts air in the top, and where it comes out is both round holes and all 3 louvered doors if they are open?

^yes

Don’t know if different hinges were used for FST doors than HT doors, so this might just be more noise, but here are pics of my ‘65 40 door hinge and ‘63 45 door hinge, respectively. They look the same and look like yours with the full length bead. FWIW.

@middlecalf, good to know.
Yes, there are soft vs hard door hinge differences. Soft doors with factory hinges are hand removable. They don't have a removable pin, they just drop in the unique body side of the hinge. I wonder if one of my soft door side "T" hinge was fabricated by a PO. There seems to be some difference in the quality of the welds.

What's this paint called? Does look like it was in use this year.
