Somewhere on Mud someone posted a Mad Max meme, “A343F: 2 hp enter, 1 hp leaves!”

Im a bad reader, thanks for clarifyingNo this graph just shows the before hp and torque. 121awhp and 170ft/lbs to the wheels. The after turbo dyno has not been done yet.
Hmm. A442F here but if I had dyno access and the required disposable funds it would be interesting to run mine now and after I install the Extreme Valvebody I have coming from Australia.

I'd not get too stuck on the drivetrain loss stuff given this truck appears at least to me to be running larger tires than stock, also not sure as not seen it mentioned but what's the gearing?
Its my understanding that the dyno computer corrects for tire size, gearing, speed, rpm, etc...
Well it will use either an inductive pickup for RPM or manually set by the operator but I'd doubt on that dynojet it's correcting for tire size verses OEM or gearing as they'll select the only gear they can lock and take to redline (2nd would make sense although L would lock but not be close to 1:1 ratio) Dynapak dyno would require then operator to enter a final drive but the dyno used wouldn't

This is correct.
The dynojet calculates hp from actual torque at the drum using an inductive pickup clipped onto the ignition lead to get RPM.
The only correction would be to correct to standard temp and pressure. There will be no correction for tire size, gearing, etc. but the only thing that matters is the delta between the pre and post turbo numbers. As long as the same truck and same dyno are used you will have comparative numbers.
Do it! Everyone wants to see what a bus tranny can do......
Dan if you’re actually interested. The place that might be dynoing all the other 80’s is Turbo Lab Racing in Orem. They have a Dynojet 424 AWD just like the one Joey used. They have a price of $95 listed but maybe we can get a package deal of sorts?
Maybe its time we get you to move to Utah.I just paid double that![]()
Ah yes, the ol' California special.I just paid double that![]()
