The cost to make these is much more than i expected. If you want a set pm me. I don't plan on making money on these and it will take some time to get a set made. My prototypes will be ready in 5 weeks. I don't know how many he can make and how long it will take but these puppies ain't cheap. LOL! Atleast you can run most 8 lug wheels after this!

This may be an utterly ignorant comment (so those with manufacturing experience please feel free to enlighten me) , but would it be less expensive and simpler to reproduce if the spacer was created using a 3D printer and then a casting mold made from it?

I know that many prefer the ultimate strength of billet over cast, but with good quality control practices many of the shortcomings of the casting process can be overcome. Would this be a viable option to reproducing the item?

I may be just talking out of my rear here, so please feel free to stomp my comment into the mud :-)

More or less than $100 per corner?

Gotcha. The first one costs a hundred grand, but the second one costs five bucks.

You'd never sell enough quantity to break even...

My company has 6 3D printers and is working on getting a 3D metal printer... Once design is finalized the product is sent overseas for production in the foundry. This is only cost effective at 250K units at a time... So unless your ready to make a large investment, C&C is going to be your best bet.

interested depends on price

Machine shop says 750 a set and he needs a few orders to go 5 minimum to make it happen. And it would take 2-3 weeks to get the. All done asap. The more we order the cheaper it will be.

woohooo that's awesome!
Is yours done yet??? Let's see some pics and reports on the test drive :)

I might go in first of month of so of next year but tapped now on current projects and the holidays are right around the corner.

Any word on the test ride? Price is still the same? Been trying to contact ems but the site still down for "maintnance". Whatever happened to them? It looks like the same thing that happened with the guy making the Atlas I6 swap!!! Never showed up again on the forum or answered emails... I'm interested, but have to do other stuff first so I'll keep it on the back burner for now...

Check out post #203 for EMS information.

I've picked up the mantle on these. The prototypes are at home and I'm out of town. Will be bolted up in 2 weeks. Then I will post final price. They will be close to the price that EMS powered sold them for but much faster turn around and ship time.
