Just finsihed the repaint of my FJ-60. Had to go with the Black and Tan. The pinstripe was inspired by an old picture in the SOR catalog. The truck is currently listed on Ebay. Let me know what you think. Winslow.eBay Motors: Toyota : Land Cruiser (item 190295753391 end time Mar-29-09 17:41:39 PDT)

The strip is Cygnus white paint, not a decal. I used the TOYOTA on the hood for a template. The guy who cut the front fender is a surgeon with a plasma torch. One of the cleanest jobs I have seen. I am already having sellers remorse, but am looking forward to building a 40.

Truck looks beautiful!! I was just dreaming last night of doing a tube down the side like you've done.

Awwwe!!!

Looking sooo good great job.

Now to get my broken carcass backto work on the BT.

Nice cruiser. What are the specs. on the wheels? You run spacers?

The wheels are late model GM factory Alloy Rims. They are 17x7(I think), not sure on the backspace back the don't stick out nearly as much as my 17x9 beadlocks with 4.5" backspacing did. I am not running spacers, those are full width GM one ton axels. Dana 60 in the front and Corp. 14 in the rear.

looks really clean. nice!

This has been up before, but here she is, prior to new paint, on the Escalator on Hell's Revenge in Moab. She is rolling on the MRT beadlocks which are included in the sale. I still have the 39.5 IROKs as well. PM if you are interested in them.

Thats an incredible rig. I wish I were still in Jackson so that I come check it out for some inspiration to my project. Good luck with the sale!

The "decal" is actually painted on. They used the grill emblam(sp?) as a template to cut out tape, the rest was simple masking and shooting. The guy at the body shop made pretty quick work of it. Its in Cygnus white and would probably look good on a lot of solid color wagons. Especially the blue ones and the tan ones.

The Rig has been completely transformed! Amazing what a few changes will do. I love it in both configurations.

Good luck with your sale. It would be hard for me to let that one go.:crybaby:

Wonder if we can find someone to copy that design on high quality decal material? If so i'd be in. I think that would be killer to have when my 8B2 60 restoration is done.:hhmm:
