The painting of the signs made by hand. The best of all was the reaction of my wife when she saw the tachometer. She opened her eyes and asked me with fear:😰 How much did this cost??? Because she thought i had bought it new. It took me five minutes trying to explain that it was just restored... She couldn't believe it...

Oh boy, here we go! :princess:

New mud protectors for the shocks and the steering box..

Very Nice…How do you like the Terrain Tamer shocks?

I bought them as a suspension kit all included. I have read good comments about them but i haven't tested them yet. Sadly i haven't got any space to test the vehicle safely without getting it on to the road, so i have to wait till the end of the process to test them.

We' re waiting!
I contemplate to buy the very same suspension kit for my future J45 resto too!

PS. Australian Cruiser-overlanders swear that Terrain Tamer is a manufacturer one can trust...

They make a lot of parts/kits for the LC..I figure if it’s good enough for the Outback, I can’t throw rocks at it. I bought an Aussie “Tuff Dog Steering Damper” years ago. Nice piece of kit and still going strong..🤩

Sure Chungas, Tough Dog shocks in every corner+steering is my alternative, if I' ll remain with the stock leaf springs...
People who used them that way in Germany are very satisfied too!

Do you have any pictures of the parabolic leaf springs or did you buy the traditional multi-leaf kit?

For the 40 series, Terrain Tamer builds only traditional multi leaf kit. I have picture in previous posts. Parabolic leafs comes only for 70 series i think.

It seems that they added the 40-Series in their parabolic catalog recently. This is exactly mdman who brought us the good news yesterday:

Hi mdman,
just have a look at the link I gave you (page 4 of this thread, in the middle, #76):
Shown did upload some pics of his ("traditional" multi leaf) kit...
There you can see what the complete kit of TT included for their total price. Again, in respect to their new parabolics, we can expect them at a few hundred more above that, I think.
