Are you getting similar numbers? I'm noticing ambient temperature also is a major factor

Yes, similar numbers when it's cool outside. Ambient temperature makes a big difference, just like having an intercooler does.

I've been thinking about cutting out the obstructions on the front bumper to help air flow in the intercooler. However I like the way the bumper looks now and i know I'll do a hack job if i attempt it.

pics coming soon, have tons to choose from since been building/rebuilding/re-rebuilding for 3 years :)

That's awesome, can't wait to see them.

yeah, I´m a newbie here, no linking allowed for couple of days, all my build history is in my local 4x4 site

Took my best friend Diesel to the lake.

You can see how the lake level has dropped since last year. People still drown in it though.

Gonna fire up the grill and enjoy a cigar with beer.

He's a great dog, one of my best. Worked with a ton of GSD in Iraq and we owned over 16 when we lived in Liberia. They are loyal and smart. I named him after my favorite dog who eventually got shot in Afghanistan. That one had titanium canines.
Oh I forgot to mention that I took his girlfriend Pearl to the lake as well.

Mike, we need to camp out there when it gets cooler.
Give me a time and place and I'll be there, with beer

EDIT:
Just reread this and realized you already gave me the place. So waiting on the time now.

That's what we call a "SNACK DOG" Charlie knows when we say that there is a small yipper in the area... HA!

Pearl is my early warning system. Nothing gets by her. She alerts diesel while I get my gun. We got two more dogs, but they are more for show.

Anyone else having this issue, or am I just that lucky? The color of my bajarack seems to be fading. Compare it to my 10 plus year old front bumper

You can see it's old but still glossy. Same with my 3 year old sliders.

I step on those almost every day. Now look at the rack.

Those are water droplets, but the blackness is fading. Not trying to talk bad about the vendor, the rack is really sturdy, just wondering what I need to do.

Yeah might have to. These things are so annoying because they are so bulky to ship back and forth. Wondering if it's even worth it.

Guys, I may have a problem. A Lamborghini parked next to Big Red and I didn't care to take a picture. It could have actually parked under it. Today I drove next to an 80 series on my way to Ft Worth, I scrambled to get my camera out because it had a snorkel. WTF is this condition called?

Hehehe, its called COMMEN SENSE, Ha… :rimshot:

Cheap paint? Is it powder coated or wet paint?

The rack does have more exposed (to the sun) horizontal surfaces than the bumper and sliders.

True, but it's also 4 months old.it's powder coated. It's not a big deal really as long as it holds together. Baja rack said they never had this issue. I sent them pictures.

Do a Google search Mike.... I've seen quite a few posts on other forums with your issue on the "chalking"...

Also complaints of surface rust...
