I'll look it up when I get home. At first they offered to send me cans of spray, then asked to see pictures. We'll see what comes of it.
It sounds nit picky of me and maybe hypocritical since I'm driving aJapanese truck, but I want business to stay in America, I only demand quality in return

Figures:D. The guys said that it's in san diego, maybe that's just their corporate office. Either way I expect quality.

Jaosn, I love your new logo :)

More things to worry about. I have this hairline cut in one of my tires, it's not deep, it just reminds me of a few bad experiences in Iraq.

Thinking I need to order runflats when I get a real job. I'm just not sure if runflats will fit with the pvc insert I have inside the tires.

What do you guys think, should I worry about this or is the cut too superficial?

I have a feeling I'm older than thou...... Hee Hee!

I've bought BLEM tires for about 20 years now... lug isn't formed quite right or name isn't perfect... "structurally" sound the mfg says.. BUT??

J
J, I have the body of a 55 year old, just ask Dave.

Fine, if it means that much to you, you can be Sr to me :hillbilly:.

So how badly should i worry about that tire or is it impossible to tell by the picture?

I don't think that's a blem. That sidewall cut is new, right?

A very similar cut to that turned into this at highway speeds after about 2 hours. You still have runflats in those H1s, right?

No runflats, need to order some. I'm wondering if they will run with the pvc fitting in the tires that makes it a double beadlock. What runflats are you using, the rubber or the magnesium ones?

Edit, the cut had been there a few months, that tire used to be in the front, rotated it to the rear. I'm gonna avoid the highway for a while until I get runflats

To my knowledge, you cannot run runflats with PVC inserts.

All of my wheels have rubber runflats.

When yours blew, did it have a runflat in it?

EDIT: for clarification, did you get the run flats from the get go, or did you decide to get them after the blow out?

When those "no melt" Michelins showed up in the desert, it was a game changer. They came from Karlsruhe, there's a k in an oval before the date code.

They come with runflats from the military. I thought you would have known that :P
