Absolutely tell them to replace all body mounting rubber isolaters, washers and bolts. It's about $500-600 worth of parts with a MUD discount so between $700-900 depending on markup for the insurance folks.

I would not do a frame swap without addressing the mounts for the body.

I would of thought it would be the perfect time to build something out of the salvage that would put Alan Podvin to shame, in the modifications department !

Cut the rear, flip the rear chassis section for improved departure, with bar back on and quarter panel chop with tubs for larger tyres 8)


Actually, frame swap should see most of the body come good when its all straight again, without to many tweaks.

Its amazing how far they will move around.

You always have to have the next "best thing" Everyone else is painting their wheels, you're swapping frames. One upper.....

So I am going to do a much nicer than hose clamp remote res mount for my Slee 2.5" fronts. Do you guys have any recommendations? I would like something solid like the one linked below. Also, my shock reservoirs are currently mounted on the outside of the framerail near the front body mount. Does anyone recommend a different location. Tire clearance with 35s is a concern.

Now would also be the time to weld pucks in place for the body mounts that go on the cross member above the rear axle.

Do you see any places that could be re-enforced? That may be a wise move while its bare like that. Considering how you drive...

It's also interesting to see the front suspension/diff area. And reason why you couldn't modify for more lift? Just curious at this point. I've never seen a 100 frame bare before

I would see about adding a a secondary plate that runs along the rear portion. Where you bent the old frame. Since your towing off road I would think they would understand. Given you may not change your driving habits they may go for it to prevent this happening again

It's upside down with the left of the picture being the front of the frame right?

Are they willing to swap the body lift pucks over? That's not a job I would ever want to do again!

Perfect time to cut those front upper shock mounts off, and fit some new ones, with reservoir mounts.

A couple of Tundra front top coil over mounts, mated to the upper arm mounts....
