So it looks like I need a new rear axle housing. 25k miles on the rear. Please don’t judge my lack of rotation. Has anyone else bent their rear axle? With very moderate wheeling.

Seen plenty of axles bent from 'jumping' but not moderate wheeling. I'd take a good look at ALL the suspension back there. More than one way/reason for that type of tire wear.

Yes, been there, bent that several years back. It is hard to say what exact event led to the bending of my housing. However, I was able to straighten it so that it no longer ate tires, but it was by no means an easy task. There should be a pretty decent supply of used rear axle housings out there now. If you pull the axles out of the housing, you may also want to check the axle shaft and flange on that side for run out per the FSM.

I don’t know how else you can’t get wear like that on a solid rear axle.

Bent lower control arm (causing it to be shorter on one side) would tend to position the tire on that side ahead of the tire on the other side (dragging it along). It would also tend to try and 'lift' the axle on that side. So scrubbing of the inner most tread could occur if severe enough.

I don't think worn bushings alone would do that....but wouldn't be helpful and you'd probably know by the 'wandering' it would cause (rear wheels not tracking properly).

Over what time period has this happened? I would think IF the tires had been rotated at all, someone would have noticed what was going on.

When both tires display inside wear like that, then yes....bent axle housing is a real possibility, check it out.

is there any oil leakage at the seals?
I would think the seals would be bad if the axle was tweeked bad.
is the oil level correct?

I've got this same problem, 2012 Ford F350 6.7 Powerstroke SRW. Less than 20k miles on my tires - put new Michelin LT245 / R17 Defender LTX M/S all the way around and at around 5k miles on the rear I would end up with very noticeable treadwear on the inside only. Your post was virtually the only thing I could find that seems to be similar to the problem I have. Did you problem end up being the axle housing just as you had posted about? And did you end up repairing it, and did it solve the problem?

I ended up purchasing a parts truck for $500, transplanted the axle and sold the rest of the truck for parts. Wear is even now.

Pictures of rear end and all its control arm, along with list of what is not factory stock to vehicle may yield clues.
