Has anyone used a truck bed liner for the trunk of their 60? my carpet looks pretty nasty and i think it would be kinda cool to do something different. If you have done this please post pix and let me know which brand u used and how you like it. Thanks!

I removed the nasty deteriorated carpet and used a diamond pattern plastic for the cargo area and back seat. I got it at American Plastics and Fabrics. Used 3 yds @ $21.00 each. Will cover the rear door as well sometime this week...

Originally it was one piece. I did it into 2 pieces. The cargo mat is fixed in place using the seatbelt screws in the front and the aluminum moldure at the back of the cargo area.

The prob with bed liner is it looks great until it gets wet/muddy/dusty and then it looks sort of dirty forever because the texture makes it hard to clean even with soap and water. The upside is it covers everything up, including any creative sheet metal fab you have done! It is also very sturdy so if you use your truck as a true "utility" vehicle in back, it could be a great option. I enjoyed mine, but it didn't look great.

Also, a note on bedliner application, get clothes/shoes you don't want and cover yourself up 100% - head and all - before getting after it. If that stuff dries on you, it will be there until your skin comes off underneath it. Hair - you will have to cut it off.
