Here is what I did for the 1/0 cable routing. I drilled two holes then used a razor blade to clean it up. The cables run under/to the side of the battery without issue.

You and almost everyone else that ordered it wants it really bad :(

I need to stop getting distracted and finish these up already!!!
I love your work. I found myself building custom power cables for rich Audiophiles two years ago, and I lost money all the way through. But I loved doing it, and they loved my cables.

In my opinion, for the custom work you offer, $1200 is a fair price.

Yeah I know. I was in the film industry where one 5-pin meta data lemo with Mogami cable we would sell for $350. We would custom make 3 and 4-pin XLR power cables for $2-300. Hundreds of cables per year. ;)

I now offer the same question given to me by non-buyers: "why so low?"

Why lose money?

I already know the answer.

For me, I chose to lose money simply to gain standing as a builder. I wanted to establish an impeccable reputation. I achieved that, but the money did not follow.

I did that as a real estate appraiser. Its the E-myth (Gerber). Being a great technician is a great thing, and completely separate from being a great business owner. One will always dominate the other. To excel at both is unicorn country.

Well said.

Install done finally! (Well, sorta).

I got my disconnect in this weekend but I do still need to work on the temp guage hookup and I am running an led strip from my accessory switch soon too. The other thing is figuring out winch wiring at some point, but I am road worthy again.
The disconnect is a bit tight because I have led lights and the ignitor boxes are there plus my winch cables come up through that area. Still it fits good, just have to make sure nothing is binding.
Your biggest challenge will be wiring but with a bit of planning it works fine. The po already cut the battery box for the cable to go under for the engine block connection. I'm not sure if I did it right, but on the cable from the negative to the disconnect, I took a chainsaw file and notched the cable hole so my military clamp was square for a nice look. Also i notched the upper corner under the seal for the cable to come back through there. Once I stopped staring and repeating step six and got after it, things went quick. I think a gorilla installed my old block ground so that was the worst part (like PHH territory) getting that off. The new cable lined up there scary perfect.

Woohoo! Well three others shipped out yesterday. I'm trying to tie up the remaining ten or so.

I will say that I am very glad i bought this.
Did I NEED this? Probably not. I try not to be a total dumbass with things I want but probably like most of you, the grind of life needs a reality outlet, and for me it is cars, and my favorite is my 80. If going over the top with it doing mods made by fellow mud members is a bad thing then I am guilty, but otherwise I am just a gearhead trying to have as much fun as possible before I'm dust.:grinpimp:

Thanks! It's all about piece of mind. I thought about powder coating the handle RED or painting with glow in the dark paint. Dunno.

Prismatic Powders makes a glow-in-the-dark clear topcoat. Pretty cool stuff, but needs lots of UV to charge up.

"Glowbee Clear" is the Prismatic color I've used.
